Convert a photo into anime or other art styles
Select a style and the photo to anime tool redraws the picture in it: anime, pencil sketch, watercolour, 3D cartoon, comic book or oil painting. People remain recognisable, with the same faces, hairstyles, clothes and pose, and the composition of the photo is kept, so the result reads as the original photo in a different medium.
Keeping people recognisable
A style transfer that loses the person is of limited use. The tool is instructed to keep faces, hairstyles, clothing and pose, and to apply the chosen style evenly across the whole image instead of applying a filter to parts of it.
Recommended source photos
Clear, well-lit photos with visible faces give the best results, such as portraits, couples, pets and family groups. Busy group shots with tiny faces are harder, because less of each face is available to keep.

Anime
Clean lines and bright, cel-shaded colour, suited to avatars, profile pictures and fan-style portraits.
Pencil sketch and watercolour
A detailed graphite drawing or a soft watercolour painting, suited to gifts, cards and prints.
3D cartoon, comic and oil
An animated-film look, a comic-book panel or the brushwork of an oil painting, applied to the whole picture.
How to turn a photo into anime
Upload a photo
Use a JPG, PNG or WebP image in which the people or the pet are clearly visible.
Select a style
Anime is selected first. A pencil sketch, watercolour, 3D cartoon, comic book or oil painting can be selected instead, and an additional instruction, such as a snowy evening, can be entered in the box.
Generate
The credits are shown on the button. Select it to generate the new picture.
Try another style
Download the result and compare it with the photo, or select another style to generate a second version.
How credits work for style changes
Each version is one AI generation, priced by the resolution selected: one price per image.
Before you click, the Generate button shows how many credits this run costs. Automatic settings are priced at the most expensive possible tier. A successful generation is charged exactly the quoted credits. Failures caused by us or blocked by our content checks cost nothing. If the generation service does not charge for a failure, neither do we. If it does, you pay for the actual usage, capped at the quote, and the record shows the charge.
Each style is a separate generation. If one fails, the page explains why and shows whether it was charged; failures on our side and requests stopped by our content check cost nothing.

Which styles are available?
Anime, pencil sketch, watercolour, 3D cartoon, comic book and oil painting. A style is selected before generating, and each style produces its own version.
Do people remain recognisable?
The tool is instructed to keep faces, hairstyles, clothing and pose recognisable. Larger, sharper faces keep their likeness best.
Does it work on pets?
Yes. Pets, objects and places are also supported; the style is applied to the whole image.
Can I convert the same photo into several styles?
Yes. Select another style and generate again. Each version is charged separately and all versions remain in History.
Can I use photos of other people?
Only use photos you have the right to use, and respect the people in them. You are responsible for what you upload.
How much does it cost?
Credits depend on the resolution selected, with one price per image. The price is shown on the Generate button before you click.
Can I choose the resolution?
Yes. Match photo is selected first, and 1K, 2K or 4K can be selected instead. Match photo uses the smallest of 1K, 2K and 4K that holds as many pixels as the photo, so no detail is lost. The result follows the shape of the photo, and the credits on Generate change with the resolution selected.
