Ugly pet drawing

Turns a pet photo into a deliberately bad doodle: your pet above, its ugly drawing below.

Make a hilariously ugly drawing of your pet

Upload a photo of your cat, dog, rabbit or any other pet, and the tool draws it again as a lovingly terrible doodle portrait. The result is one vertical 3:4 image: your pet's real photo in the top square and its badly drawn twin in the bottom square, with the bandana, the fur pattern or the guilty look still there to give it away. It is the quickest way to join the badly drawn pet portrait trend without picking up a pen.

How the pet doodle keeps its personality

The tool looks at your pet first: its pose, its expression, the colours and markings of its fur or feathers, and anything it is wearing. Then it draws the animal from scratch in a clumsy hand-drawn style, with wobbly lines, oversized eyes and stiff little legs, while keeping those telling details. A tabby stays striped and a dog with one white ear keeps it, so the doodle is unmistakably your pet, only much worse at sitting for a portrait.

Each run is a new drawing. Generate a few versions of the same photo and keep the one whose expression is closest to your pet's worst moments.

Pet photos that give the funniest doodles

Choose a photo where the pet faces the camera and fills much of the frame, with its eyes visible. Open mouths, tilted heads, big ears and bright collars or bandanas give the drawing something to exaggerate. Very dark photos, pets far away in a large scene or several animals overlapping make the doodle harder to recognise.

Why pet owners love ugly pet drawings

  • Pet posts with a twist

A cute photo next to its wobbly portrait gets more reactions than another ordinary pet picture, in a feed, a story or a group chat.

  • Gifts and cards for pet people

A deliberately bad portrait of a friend's dog or cat makes a funny birthday card, a fridge print or a sticker idea that still feels personal.

  • Every pet, every personality

Wide-eyed cats, serious dogs, sleepy rabbits and chaotic parrots each get a doodle that exaggerates the expression their owners know best.

How to make an ugly drawing of your pet

  1. Upload a pet photo

Use a JPG, PNG or WebP photo where your pet is clear and close to the camera.

  2. Pick the resolution

Match photo is selected first; 1K, 2K or 4K can be selected instead, and the credits update with it.

  3. Add a quirk to exaggerate

Optionally name a feature to overdo, such as huge paws, a tiny head or a dramatic tongue. Leave it empty to let the tool decide.

  4. Generate and share the portrait

Generate the image, then download it from the result or find it again in History to post or print.

Credits for an ugly pet drawing

Each pet doodle is one AI image generation, priced by the resolution you choose.

The credits for each pet doodle appear on the Generate button before you start, and a successful image costs exactly that. Nothing is charged for a failure on our side or a photo stopped by our own content checks; if the image service charges for a failed attempt, including one its own content rules refused, you pay only for the actual usage and never more than the quote.

Frequently asked questions

Need more information? Email us at support@arumi.ai.

Which pets work with the ugly pet drawing tool?

Any pet that is clearly visible in the photo: cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, birds, reptiles or horses. One animal close to the camera gives the clearest result.

Will the drawing still look like my pet?

It is meant to be recognisable and badly drawn at the same time. Fur colours, markings, collars and the expression usually stay, while the outlines and proportions go wrong on purpose.

Can I make it even uglier?

Yes. Describe what to exaggerate in the optional box, for example enormous eyes, a stretched body or a very small head, or simply generate again for a different attempt.

Is there any text on the pet portrait?

No. The image has no words or labels, so you can add your pet's name or a caption in your own post or card.
